Tim Westwood is well-known for having some of the most rare freestyles from some of the biggest names in the business. Westwood takes it all the way back to 1998 with a freestyle from Cam'ron over a classic Wu-Tang beat. Take a listen and tell us what you think.
In 1995, JAY Z, Dame Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke founded Roc-A-Fella records. On June 25, 1996, Reasonable Doubt was released to the world as the first record on the label. Jigga celebrated the album's 20 year anniversary with a short film that debuted on Tidal. The film allowed Jigga's friends to express what the album meant to them and how they may have contributed to the recording process. Although he's usually quiet, Biggs was featured in the film.
In the video below, Biggs sits down with Rob Markman and Rap Genius to reflect back on JAYZ's debut. Although he played the back, Biggs was influential in Jigga's career. Not only does he talk about everything leading up to the release of Reasonable Doubt, Biggs speaks about his favorite songs/quotes, what didn't make the cut and his views on the album.
